Brownsville Baptist to Host Tennessee Librarians Training Events

Library workers across the state will be given a chance to receive special training at four 2007 Fall Library Team Training Events sponsored by the Tennessee Baptist Convention. The one-day clinics are scheduled to take place in four locations across the state. Brownsville Baptist Church will host the event in Brownsville September 22. Emphasis will be placed on providing quality library skills training for church, school and public librarians, while providing an opportunity for establishing group identity, networking, and fellowship with peers.

Highlighting the events will be several conferences led by leaders known for their flair and expertise in the many areas of library work. There will be classes on classification, cataloging, automation, promotion, beginning library work, technology in the library, scrap booking your church history, as well as others.
