The Brownsville Family Readiness Group is asking all Haywood Countians to purchase a flag in honor or memory of loved ones. The flags will be used to line the route our local 1175th National Guard Unit uses when they come home and will be on sale through April 30. This gesture will welcome our soldiers home and show them our support. The flags will begin at National Guard Armory on Morgan Street. Please use the form below to purchase your flag, or pick one up at First South Bank or from any Family Readiness Group member.

A magnificent display of American Flags in honor or memory of a dear loved one to show special recognition

The flags will start at the National Guard Armory drive and

will be placed down the route our soldiers will come home

Flags are 3 x 5 on an 8’ pole with rebar for mounting. A placard will be placed at the base

of each flag, stating the name honored or remembered person and the donor. Donated flags

may be picked up at the Armory after the Brownsville Unit has arrived home in May.
