Bredesen Appoints Ashworth to Community Services Board

Governor Phil Bredesen has appointed 63 Tennesseans to serve on 24 state boards and commissions October 13, 2008, and among those appointed is John D. Ashworth of Brownsville.

Ashworth has been asked to serve on the Tennessee Community Services Agency Board of Directors as a representative of Haywood County. The appointment is effective immediately and runs through September 30, 2012.

“We depend on the commitment of citizens like John Ashworth to serve the state through its boards and commissions,” said Bredesen “I am confident he has the skills, experience and knowledge necessary to become a valuable member of the board, and I appreciate his willingness to serve the state of Tennessee.”
