UT Extension & The Family Resource Centers are excited to kick off the “Healthy Homes” initiative by hosting an evening with nationally-known motivational speaker Derrick Hayes of Columbus, Georgia. Everyone is invited to Anderson on March 13 at 6:00 pm to hear Mr. Hayes’ dynamic program: “The Power of Positive Thinking.”

 

Mr. Hayes’ is known for helping families reach their goals for physical, emotional, and financial health using his unique “Derricknyms” in which he creates positive messages for individuals using the letters contained in their first or last names. He will demonstrate this talent using the names of people in attendance on March 13th!

 

Hayes’ critically acclaimed book “Derricknyms from A-Z” has been used in schools, businesses, and churches. Mr. Hayes, an alumnus of Tennessee State University and a member of the Baltimore Worldwide Speakers Bureau, has been featured as keynote speaker at events sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce and numerous colleges and universities.
