Class of 2008

Community leaders, Leadership alumni and friends and family gathered Thursday, April 10, at the First South Bank Community Room to celebrate 14 new graduates of Leadership Haywood County.

Twelve members of the class accepted their certificates and presented their class project, and a slide show of pictures taken during their sessions, at the banquet in their honor.

Each year classmates choose their most innovative thinker and a member to serve on the Leadership Board of Trustees. Mayor Webb Banks presented Nick Nichols with the “Thinking Outside the Box Award,” and Mayor Franklin Smith announced Rita Hathcock as the new board member.
