United Way Campaign Underway in Haywood County

The 2008-2009 United Way Campaign is underway in Haywood County with a positive start thanks to companies like Lowe’s and Dynametal. Lowe’s Distribution Center and their employees donated just over $2,300 and Dynametal’s employee campaign returned $6,778.

“The support of our companies and employees is so uplifting,” said Diana Tate, Campaign Chairwoman for Haywood County. “It is such an honor to participate in my community through the United Way and to watch the spirit of giving work through these channels. It really does change lives right here in our community.”
