Brownsville Radio’s sister station, WNWS NewsTalk 101.5 FM in Jackson, has been awarded a Pinnacle Award by the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce. NewsTalk was among five others who received the award on Thursday night, February 9, 2006. The Pinnacle award is given to businesses that have been in business more than five years. “We are a winner in the category of service company with 15-49 employees. We’re excited and proud of 101.5,” says Brownsville Radio’s Rita Hathcock. NewsTalk also was the recipient of the Emerging Business award several years ago.
Also receiving a Pinnacle Award is H&H Services. Owned by David and Melissa Hunt, H&H is a service-oriented business and employs 15 to 49. David Hunt is an active member of the Brownsville Haywood County Chamber of Commerce and serves on its Board of Directors.
Winners are selected based on history, growth, customer service, employee satisfaction and community involvement.
