A volunteer is one who donates his or her time to the betterment of others. Nothing makes you feel better than helping someone else. By sharing some of your time and abilities with the Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center, you can help make the future a little brighter for the children.
Volunteers actively assist the Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center in all of its operations. Some volunteers work directly with children and their families. They serve as a positive role model and provide support, reassurance, empathic listening and guidance. Others help with children’s groups; provide transportation for our clients, assists in office work, special projects or fundraising activities. In all cases, the Center staff works closely with the volunteers so that the needs of the families’ can best be met.
The
Carl Perkins Center will be
having a Volunteer Training class in September at the Haywood County Center.
