There will be a public hearing at 10 a.m., November 6,
2006, at College Hill Center, 127 North Grand Avenue, Brownsville.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive public input
about the ADA elevator project plans for Haywood County’s LPRF grant award
project. The public is encouraged to attend this important meeting.
This project is funded in part by a grant from the Local
Park and Recreation Fund (LPRF) and administered by the Recreation Educational
Services Division, Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. The
project is in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
(ADA of 1990) and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Funding has been provided by LPRF ($86,125.00) and local
funds ($86,125.00).
