The Fine Arts department at Haywood High School has put
together another great play for the citizens of Brownsville and Haywood
County. These kids always do an outstanding job. It is amazing how much
talent we have here. Hollywood should check us out. The title of this year’s
play is “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.” It’s a musical
comedy and is directed by Allyson Byrum. Michelle Tillman is assisting Byrum,
as are many of the parents, students and high school staff. Make plans to be
at College Hill and the Ann Marks theater next Friday or Saturday night for
the performance. The curtain rises at 7:30 p.m. And speaking of excellence in the schools, congratulations
to Mary Davis, Ida Coleman and Patricia Gaietto. Their fellow educators have
honored these three ladies with the title “Teachers of the Year.” You can
learn more about what’s going on in our schools by visiting www.haywoodschools.com. |
