Thank you to everyone who has
been using the online form to submit your events. This is an easy way for you to make sure I
have all the details and it helps me get your events posted quicker. So, keep
‘em coming. If you haven’t visited the Community
Calendar page lately, you’re missing out
on early notification of some great upcoming events. You’re also noticing
some other changes on All About
Brownsville, with more to come. I
hope these improvements will make it even easier for you to navigate and
enjoy the site. In case you don’t subscribe to Southern Living you might be
interested to know that in its October 2006 issue Brownsville is recognized
as one of 40 best reasons to love Tennessee. Imagine that. Of course, we
already knew that, but it’s nice to hear someone else say it. When I checked
Thursday, the October issues weren’t on the stands yet. So if you’re not a
subscriber, give it a day or two and then go pick one up. We’re listed as
Number 11, in front of the Chattanooga aquarium, the Memphis Peabody and
Dolly Parton. Wow! |
