Toddler Time at the Library: Toddler time at the Elma Ross Public Library will be Mondays, December 1 & 15, at 11 a.m. Parents are encouraged to bring their toddlers and enjoy lots of stories, songs, puppets, crafts and a snack.

Lunch 'N Learn at the Library: Lunch and Learn is planned for Wednesday, Dec. 24, at noon at the Elma Ross Public Library. Each month promises an interesting speaker and an opportunity to learn something new. Remember to bring your lunch and the library will provide your drink and dessert. Brownsville Business Association: The Brownsville Business Association will conduct it's regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, December 16, at 5:30 p.m. All members are urged to attend. Everyone is welcome. The meeting will be held at the Delta Room, 703 East Main St., behind Backyard Barbecue.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4838: Monthly meeting of veterans who have fought in foreign wars to conduct business and plan for future events that involve veterans or veteran's programs.
