Toddler Time at the Library: Toddler time at the Elma Ross Public Library has changed days. Toddler Time will now be offered on the first and third Mondays of each month. The first Toddler Time of the year is planned for January 7, at 11 a.m. Parents are encouraged to bring their toddlers and enjoy lots of stories, songs, puppets, crafts and a snack. Toddler time will only be offered once during the month of January.

Lunch 'N Learn at the Library: Lunch and Learn is planned for Wednesday, January 23, at noon at the Elma Ross Public Library. Each month promises an interesting speaker and an opportunity to learn something new. This month's subject is Project: Park of Dreams, presented by Hayden Hooper. Brownsville Business Association: The Brownsville Business Association will conduct it's regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 15, at 5:30 p.m. All members are urged to attend. Elections will be held for upcoming 2008 officers. Other important issues will be addressed at the meeting. Everyone is welcome. The meeting will be held at the Delta Room, 703 East Main St., behind Backyard Barbecue.

Wrestling to Benefit Park of Dreams: The Tennessee Independent Wrestling Foundation will be wrestling at the Parks & Recreation building on Boyd Avenue (Old Armory) Friday, January 11 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5 and concessions will be available. The reception will be held from 2-4 p.m., Monday, January 21, inside Culver Hall of the First United Methodist Church, 117 East Franklin St. Sharpe has been at BUD for more than 40 years.

Early Voting: Early voting for the Presidential Preference Primary begins Wed., January 16. Early voting will take place at a new location this year - in the lobby of the Haywood County Courthouse. Hours for Early Voting are 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., through Jan. 31, except on Sundays and Jan. 21, due to Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
