Toddler Time at the Library: Toddler time at the Elma Ross Public Library will be held Monday December 7 & 21, at 11 a.m. Parents are encouraged to bring their toddlers and enjoy lots of stories, songs, puppets, crafts and a snack.

Christmas Basket Fundraiser: Haywood County Mayor Franklin Smith and the whole Brownsville Radio crew will host the annual Christmas Basket radio-thon beginning at 7:15 a.m., Friday, December 4, on radio station WTBG 95.3 FM Brownsville. Last year's fundraiser raised more than $25,000 for food baskets for needy families in Brownsville and Haywood County.

Local school children perform at the Ann Marks Performing Arts Center and you are invited to visit the College Hill Center for an art exhibit by Haywood County students, talk with Santa and enjoy light refreshments on Monday, December 7, beginning at 6 p.m.

Windows of Hope Gala: You are cordially invited to attend the Boys & Girls Club's annual Windows of Hope Gala Friday, December 11, beginning at 7 p.m., at the Brownsville Country Club. Tickets are $15 per person andinclude food and great music by Dwight Johnson. All proceeds from the evening benefits the Brownsville Unit of the Boys & Girls Club. Christ Episcopal Christmas Eve Service: Christ Episcopal Church, 140 North Washington, will host a Christmas Eve service beginning at 5 p.m., Thursday, December 24. the service is a Eucharist with Bishop Don Johnson, the presiding Bishop of West Tennessee. Everyone is invited.

Christmas Basket Delivery: Volunteers are needed! Anyone interested in helping to deliver Christmas Baskets are asked to meet at the Brownsville Utility Warehouse on South Dupree Saturday, December 19, at 8 a.m. There will be someone to load you and give you direction. This is the biggest year for this effort and everyone's help is needed.
