Haywood County 4-Her’s are invited to join the fun at 4-H
camp this summer. Camps will be conducted at the Buford Ellington 4-H Center in
Milan, Tenn., a modern camp facility adjoining the Milan Experiment Station,

Campers are served meals cafeteria-style in the
air-conditioned 400-seat dining hall and home-style cottages provide a restful
atmosphere with bath facilities in each cabin. Accommodations for campers with
disabilities are available. The camp is accredited according to the strict
guidelines of the American Camp Association.
Other amenities of the camp include a swimming pool, rifle
range, archery range and large recreation pavilion. Ball fields, basketball
courts and a tennis court are also located on the lawn of the center. Other
facilities onsite are a wildlife center, t-shirt shop, airbrush center, craft
center and a pond where campers can fish, canoe or enjoy a paddleboat ride.
Campers are also invited to participate in an early
