An Evening with Carol Reese

With spring just around the corner, gardening enthusiasts are invited to enjoy a night out with “gardening guru” Carol Reese.

Reese will speak at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 13, 2008, at the Ann Marks Performing Arts Center in Brownsville, Tenn. She will share insights on topics such as plant material options, site selection and gardening structures.

Anyone who has heard Reese knows that her humorous style makes her presentations not only educational, but entertaining as well. She shares slides and stories of gardens all over the country and readily supplies tips and techniques for landscaping and gardening in our specific zone.

As an ornamental horticultural specialist with UT Extension, Reese keeps abreast of the latest species and cultivars available. Reese is also a regular contributor to the Tennessee Gardener magazine, a columnist for the Jackson Sun and co-hosts a regional gardening TV show called Earth Tones.
