Come to “Holiday in Haywood” a 3-Day Shopping Event

Those looking for special bargains and unique holiday gift items will have the perfect opportunity during a 3-day shopping mart planned for November 14-16, in Brownsville, Tenn. “Holiday in Haywood” will feature over 20 retail and specialty merchants all under one roof and offering a variety of items perfect for your holiday gift giving. The event will take place at the National Guard Armory located at 221 Morgan Street.

“The response from merchants has been great,” comments Monica Bivens, coordinator of the event. “And we are very confident in the variety and quality of the items that will be available.”

Among the items begin offered are toy tractors and collectibles, floral arrangements, cosmetic and spa items, designer clothing and accessories, fabrics, home décor and accessories, specialty sauces and handcrafted items. There will also be a large selection of items perfect for personalizing.

Doors will open Friday evening from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and again on Sunday from 1-4 p.m., giving shoppers plenty of time to make their choices. Santa will make a special appearance on Saturday to give the children a chance to visit and have their picture taken.
