times Thursday, February 5, 2009. The class, presented by Ron Acree and Joel
Newman of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC), will last
about an hour and will be offered twice, noon and 5:30 p.m., to allow everyone
the opportunity to attend. The
session will be held in the basement of the Chamber of Commerce, 121 West Main
Street, Brownsville, Tenn.
Small
business faces challenges on a daily basis and being aware of some basic tips
and techniques will help you weather the storm of economic uncertainty. Learn
to spot problems in your cash flow, how to market more effectively, how to
better control inventory and more. Also learn what resources are available that
can help aid you in survival.

is no cost for this seminar and is co-sponsored by the TSBDC, Brownsville
Haywood County Chamber of Commerce and the Brownsville Business Association
