Haywood Company Employee Wins United Way Sweepstakes

The United Way of West Tennessee, serving Haywood County, is hosting a 2008-2009 Campaign Sweepstakes as a way to say thank you to citizens of West Tennessee who have participated in a giving campaign. The latest drawing was for five $50 gas cards from Shell Oil. Dorsett Jones, an employee at Teknor Apex/Haywood Company was one of the winners as the West Tennessee campaign crossed the $1.5 million dollar mark.

United Way serves Haywood County through 15 partner agencies that focus on youth, strengthening families, assisting persons with disabilities, meeting emergency needs and caring for senior adults.

The United Way Campaign Sweepstakes was made possible by the generous support of West Tennessee Healthcare. Participation in a campaign is not necessary to win and entry forms can be obtained by calling the United Way office at 731-422-1816.
