Carl Perkins Center to host Dinner and Auction to promote child abuse prevention

 

The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse’s Annual Dinner and Auction will be Saturday, March 13, at the National Guard Armory on Morgan Street.

 

This year’s event will be 60s theme with the slogan “Peace, Love and Happy Children.” A silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will begin at 7 p.m. DJ Ricky Scott will provide music with masters of ceremony Kim Bishop and Dr. Will Jones. The auctioneer for the live auction that follows will be Dewayne Autry.

 

This is one of the highlights of the year in Brownsville and capacity is limited, so reserve your tickets or tables early. Single tickets are $40 and a table of eight is $320.
