HAYWOOD PARK COMMUNITY HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES NEW CEO
Haywood Park Community Hospital announces the
appointment of Jeremy Gray as chief executive officer effective today. Gray
replaces David Rasmussen, who had served as the facility’s CEO since September
2008 but who is pursuing other opportunities.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to join the
dedicated employees and medical staff at Haywood Park,” Gray says. “I am eager
to build on prior accomplishments to help bring future success, and look
forward to being an integral part of the Brownsville community.”
Gray comes to Haywood Park from Heritage
Medical Center in Shelbyville, Tenn., where he served since 2007 as Assistant
CEO. Before that, Gray served in administrative roles for health care companies
in Franklin, Tenn., and Birmingham, Ala. Gray holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in physical therapy from the University of South Alabama and a Master of
Science degree in health administration from the University of Alabama at
Birmingham.

Park,” says Sheriff Melvin Bond, chairman of the hospital’s board of trustees.
“We are fortunate to have a health care executive joining us with the
experience and desire to work with our board, physicians and employees to build
on the hospital’s positive momentum.”
Haywood Park Community Hospital, a 62-bed
facility, has more than 100 employees. Specialties represented by physicians at
the facility include cardiology, gastroenterology, internal medicine,
nephrology, orthopedics, podiatry and urology. The facility offers both
inpatient and outpatient services including 24-hour emergency care, imaging
services, general surgery, a gastroenterology laboratory, physical therapy and
more.
