Senytra Brown Completes Police Academy

The Brownsville Police Department is proud to announce the graduation of its newest officer Patrolman Senytra Brown. Officer Brown joined the Police Department in May 2010, and Friday July 30, 2010, she graduated for the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy "TLETA" in Donelson, Tennessee.

As a member of Class 1465, Brown completed all levels required to achieve her state certification as a sworn Law Enforcement Professional in the Stat of Tennessee. During her training Officer Brown excelled in Defensive Tactics and received an award from the training academy for this.

Officer Brown is a 2003 graduate of Haywood High School and completed several years of her education at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Officer Brown is currently the second female officer employed by the City of Brownsville. She will be assigned to the day shift with the Police Department.
