Recipe of the Week: French Onion Soup

Hope everyone had a safe Halloween. Don’t forget today is the last day to order a fully-cooked Boston Butt with all proceeds going to Project: Park of Dreams. Cost is $25 each. Call 772-3031 to place your order.

I hope you are enjoying the fall colors that are beginning to appear. Take time to take a deep breath, think about all that we have to be thankful for here in Haywood County and get ready for an upcoming, event-packed holiday season. And if you’ve already begun your holiday shopping, remember -- Shop Brownsville First!!!

Sunday marks the end of Daylight Savings Time. Be sure and set your clocks back one hour Saturday night before you go to bed. Like me, you want to be sure and get the hour back that we lost during the spring.
