Volume 4, Issue 5

Valentine’s Day is coming and I hope you are taking a break to spend time with your sweetheart. Treat your valentine to food, fun and dancing at the Relay for Life Sweetheart Ball tomorrow night at the National Guard Armory or spend the evening eating catfish and listening to the Blues at the Brownsville Country Club (more details below).

And speaking of eating, the First Presbyterian Church Relay for Life team will sponsor a Spaghetti Luncheon and Dinner on Thursday, February 28. Tickets ($6) are available at the church office, 109 West College St., and includes spaghetti, salad, bread, drink and dessert. Eat-in and carry out.

The Hatchie Fall Fest committee had its first meeting of the year this week and plans are well underway for the 2008 festival, October 18. Vendor applications are available online or go by A&B Printing on the square. Volunteers are always needed and if you’d like to be a part of the committee or help at the festival, e-mail Heather.

Have a good week and Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
