Brownsville & Haywood County February 15, 2008 Volume
4, Issue 6 |
|
Although
Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee were the hardest hit during the February 5
outbreak of tornados, southern Haywood County sustained considerable damage,
too. For pictures of Haywood County damaged areas, visit www.brownsvilleradio.com. And, if you'd like
to help by making a monetary donation, Regions Bank has set-up a Disaster
Relief Fund and contributions can be made at any Regions Bank branch. All
West Tennessee tornado victims, including local victims, can receive
assistance through this fund. If
you are an artist and would like to try your hand at designing this year’s
Hatchie Fall Fest t-shirt, start thinking about it now. Coming soon will be a
contest announcement and rules. I’ll keep you posted. Another addition to the
festival this year is a beauty pageant. The pageant is planned for April.
More details on this next week. You can also keep on eye on the website. Thank
you for printing and using the local Valentine’s Day coupons. If you’d like to
see more and enjoy the convenience of them being online, please let the
merchants know. I’m
still looking for more recipes. Surely you have a favorite that you don’t
mind sharing. E-mail me. ~ Sonia Share your upcoming 2008 events |
