Early voting starts today. Whether you like to go ahead
and get it over with or enjoy the excitement of Election Day (August 7), be
sure to cast your ballot. Both the Carl Perkins Center and the Town of Stanton are
working to provide needed school supplies for those less fortunate in our
county. The beginning of school posed a difficult problem for families served
by the Carl Perkins Center and this year’s school dress code adds an additional
hardship. The Center is accepting donations of basic school supplies and
monetary gifts at its office at 130 Boyd Ave. For more information, call the
Center at 731-772-8378. The Town of Stanton will “Stuff the Bus” again this year at
the Stanton Farmers Market on July 26. Quick Brag: Last week while you were reading AAB, I was
getting to know our new granddaughter. Aimee was born Friday morning and
weighed-in at a little over 7 lbs. ~ Sonia Join the Conversation: AAB Blog |
