Where did that come from? Monday’s weather episode
really packed a punch. I’m so glad no serious injuries resulted from the straight
line winds. Lots of property damage, though. It’s sad to see a lot of the old
trees down. See storm pictures posted at www.BrownsvilleRadio.com. This coming week is filled with activities and events. Check
the calendar closely. You want won’t to miss anything. We have a new author
in town, too. Check out Wednesday’s book signing. Congratulations to the Class of 2008 and all the
scholarship recipients. Good job! Connected Tennessee still needs your help. If you live
in the county and use dial-up for your internet connection (or have satellite
service), please complete this form. The information will
be used to show service providers that there is a need for affordable
broadband service in your area. Don’t forget the Hatchie Fall Fest T-shirt Design
contest. Deadline for entry is July 15. Rules and regulations are available online, or go by A&B
Printing, 50 S. Washington. This contest is open to all ages and the winning
design will receive a cash prize and be featured on this year’s festival
t-shirt. Join the Conversation: AAB Blog ~ Sonia |
