As promised, here’s more information about the Dress Code Consignment Sale coming up June 5 & 6. It
benefits you and the schools. I want to apologize before hand if I’ve left out any events this
week. My e-mail addresses from the All About Brownsville site and especially
the one used for the Community Event form seem to be lost in cyberspace. A
product of AT&T changing the Bellsouth settings. Another product of that
migration is a lapse in website updates. So, as I attempt to correct this
problem, please e-mail information to me at sonia@outlawdesignmarketing.com and bear with me as I attempt
to get the website back functioning as it should. Relay for Life is not far away now; it will soon be June 12. I’ve
enjoyed all the food fundraisers this spring, but soon I’ll have to begin
cooking for myself again. Just not yet. Check out the fish fry at Farmers
Chapel Church beginning at 10 a.m., this Saturday. Congratulations to this year’s HHS graduating class. The big event
was last night and lots of scholarships were awarded. It’s especially
exciting to hear the recipients of the local scholarships and to know how
much importance this community really puts on education. I know the Class of
2009 will do great things. And the next best thing to graduation is, of course, a class
reunion. So if last night’s ceremony made you feel a little nostalgic and
you’re a member of the Class of 1984, your fellow classmates are looking for
you. The Class has planned its 25th Reunion for September 18 &
19. It includes a tailgate party prior to the Sept. 18 football game and then
a banquet will follow the next night. For more information, call 901-331-0200
or 731-225-8026. Coming up on a long weekend, so enjoy Memorial Day and the
unofficial start to summer. ~ Sonia Join the Conversation: AAB Blog |
