This recipe is from a friend of mine in Mass. This Wasabi butter is absolutely fantastic on a steak right off the grill. We now keep a batch mixed in the refrigerator at all times. — John
1/3 C.
Rice Vinegar
3 Tbsp.
Sugar
3 Tbsp.
Dry Sherry
2 Tbsp.
Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp.
Chili Garlic Sauce
1 Tbsp.
Sesame Oil
¼ C.
Chopped Scallions
4 Cloves
Smashed Garlic
2 Tbsp.
Ginger (Ground from bottle)
Add 4
Tuna, Ahi Ahi or Swordfish Steaks and marinate 30 minutes. Grill steaks until
desired degree of doneness and serve with Wasabi Butter over the top.
In a food
processor mix together until smooth
2 Tbsp.
Wasabi Powder
1 Tbsp.
Orange Juice
1 tsp.
Kosher Salt
1 Stick
Unsalted Butter
1 Tbsp.
Cilantro
Wasabi
Butter can be melted on the fish or put on top before serving depending on
personal choice. Wasabi Butter is also excellent on steak.
